There is only one Mr. Numbervator!

Mr. Numbervator is an innovative character created and designed to teach Numbers and Maths.


Mr. Numbervator is a qualified OFSTED commended experienced class teacher in the key stages 1, 2, 3, holds a 'Teacher of The Year Award', Primary Maths Advisor for Guernsey and is a Maths Consultant designing school development plans to improve school learning outcomes in maths. He writes and presents maths programmes on BBC 1 and Teachers TV.


Mr. Numbervator is a remarkable character utterly dedicated to getting the essential skills and concepts of Maths across to the younger generation in an imaginative, action packed, challenging fun way which extends children's thinking.


Mr. Numbervator supports, promotes and endorses what Maths year 2000/Count On is advocated - a 'can do' attitude towards learning Maths, making it more accessible and encouraging children/all people to learn while having fun.

Activities are rooted in the National Numeracy Strategy Framework.


Mr. Numbervator was asked to and successfully appeared at the official Maths Year 2000 launch in the presence of the Prime Minister - Mr. Tony Blair MP and the Secretary of State for Education and Employment Mr. David Blunkett MP.


Mr. Numbervator performs around the country and beyond on behalf of the DFES, Tomorrows World Live 2000, Carlton Kids Television.
Mr. Numbervator is available to do presentations in school assemblies, work with individual classes, year groups, mixed year groups, theatres, INSET for teaching staff, adults, larger events and television filming, NQT's and Parent sessions where he
supports parents to be able to help their children at home achieve and attain high levels of maths.

His interactive performances include: mental number problems, memory activity, place value activities, human number lines, the only unique way of doing the 6-10 times tables using the fingers, converting 12-24 hr times, using Venn and Carroll diagrams and much more. Mr. Numbervator has 'sole' permission to use his personalised game show 'who wants to be a Mathonaire'. And his latest creation 'Benchmarks©'.
